Mayaland Hotel and Bungalows was the first hotel built in the amazing Chichen Itza, designed by Sylvanus G. Morley, head of the Carnegie expedition that reconstructed Chichen Itza. The hotel has a main building with guestrooms and suites, and 50 bungalows built in a rustic Mayan style scattered around 100 acres of tropical gardens. The Yucatecan hospitality and old fashioned charm is a legacy of the original owners, who built the hotel in the 1920’s.
