Designed in 1976 by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Cancun's Golf Club at Pok ta Pok artistically incorporates hundreds of meters of dramatic shoreline and ancient Mayan ruins into a truly enjoyable experience for golfers of all abilities.
With a wealth of archaeological treasures dating back to the ancient Mayas of a thousand years ago, the internationally renowned Cancun Golf Club at Pok ta Pok challenges even the best of players, who actually aim to avoid the 1,000 year-old ruins of luminous sandstone which serve as a natural historic hazard.
In addition to a fabulous 18-hole championship golf course, our facilities include a driving range, two practice putting greens, a well-stocked pro shop which offers excellent rental equipment, and a restaurant/bar with panoramic views of the Nichupte Lagoon and the Hotel Zone.
The Golf Club at Pok ta Pok, which hosts a variety of golf tournaments throughout the year, is open 365 days a year from dawn until dusk, with breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily until 6:00 pm. This golf club is definitely one of the most appealing and challenging options for playing golf in Cancun and the Riviera Maya.
